How to Keep the Kingdom Lifted

Praying for the kingdom is so important. We’re to pray for one another on all occasions with all kinds of prayers. You don’t have to know someone to pray for them. You don’t have to know what you’re praying for. It sounds crazy to pray for billions of individuals that you haven’t met and probably never will, but you’re doing your duty as part of the body of Christ. Just start praying. God will handle everything else. Here’s a prayer that I like to pray and share:

Father God,

I lift Your believers up to You. I pray that You continue to draw them closer. Allow them to feel Your presence like never before. Remind them that You will never leave nor forsake them. Let them know that You have them by the hand through every storm.

Arm them with Your girdle of truth so they don’t believe the lies being whispered to them. Give them the wisdom and discernment to know Your voice over other voices competing for their attention. Make them sensitive to Your voice and Your leading.

I pray, Lord, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. In Jesus’s name, I bind and rebuke spirits of doubt, anger, depression, un-forgiveness, fear, anxiety and any other decisive spirit that would try to come against them. I plead the blood of Jesus over them, their homes, their families, their churches, their schools and their jobs. No evil will come near them or their ministries. No harm will come near their homes.

In Jesus’s Name,

Amen.
